Department Summary:As the Mission Infrastructure Department Manager, you will also serve as a direct manager and developer of people, workforce shaping, lead all department operations, and play a key part helping support corporate outcomes through strategic advancement of endpoint devices and capabilities. Roles & Responsibilities:Accountable to the Managing Director for the successful planning, development and execution of Mission IT services, which directly supports the work program’s ability to meet sponsor deliverables through experimentation, research and simulations. The successful candidate must partner with MNS, MPS and MITRE Labs to create a community of mission IT resources that support the work program with a forward-looking view of 3-5 years. This will include the transition of environments and laboratory work to compliant infrastructure and working with customers to identify their gaps and prepare for CMMC. Essential Job Functions
Oversee IT service teams working in challenging mission IT and sponsor environments supporting laboratories and mission IT services.
Apply best practices in IT Operations and service delivery management
Develop and execute strategic plans for mission-critical IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring scalable solutions that effectively support program delivery and maximize sponsor impact
Hiring, developing and retaining world-class staff
Developing the next generation of leadership, e.g. thought leaders, project leaders, and people leaders
Advancing the department’s capabilities through innovation, external partnering, and work program application in alignment with Division strategy
Ensure that the department's IT operations and services adhere to CMMC requirements, implementing necessary controls and processes to achieve and maintain the appropriate certification level. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to continuously assess and enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture in line with CMMC standards
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Collaborating across division organizations to provide cross-cutting and impactful solutions
Educating MITRE project leaders and sponsors on department capabilities, expertise, and impact
Ensuring that department staff performance and compensation management activities are fair and transparent
Responding to requests for information about the department and its technical capabilities
Identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve the inclusion and diversity of the department's work and staff
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 10 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 7 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
Must have minimum of 4 years prior experience managing large teams
Must have minimum of 4 years prior experience and a proven successful track record of delivering large and diverse work programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop trusted relationships and work collaboratively across MITRE
Experience in developing cross enterprise outcomes and coordinating senior leadership
Demonstrated technical and business leadership
Demonstrated ability to shape and drive high impact, high quality services
Ability to obtain a US government security clearance
This position has an on-site requirement of 4 days a week on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
Has proven successful track record of managing large and diverse work program with direct sponsor work experience
Has a minimum of 4 years’ experience working on sponsor projects
Experience working across MNS, MPS and MITRE Labs with proven results on supporting these operations and/or project execution
