Job Title: Site Procurement LeadEmployment Type: Temporary (6-Month Assignment)Location: Manassas, VAPay Rate: $60 per hourShift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite Position)Job Overview:Adecco is seeking a Site Procurement Lead for a 6-month assignment with a leading pharmaceutical company in Manassas, VA. This role involves leading the procurement team, sourcing materials, services, and capital, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the Global Procurement Organization to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and enhance operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Develop succession plans and implement talent development strategies.
Resolve supplier shortages and material supply issues proactively.
Negotiate supplier contracts to improve terms and drive cost savings.
Ensure supplier compliance with procurement policies and purchase order terms.
Partner with engineering and Global Capex Category Management for RFPs, supplier selection, and contract execution.
Align procurement activities with business goals by engaging with internal stakeholders.
Manage pricing changes and financial impact assessments in collaboration with Finance.
Support global procurement initiatives and manage supplier relationships.
Develop strategies for supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
Conduct risk assessments and implement supply chain disruption mitigation plans.
Identify and implement cash flow optimization opportunities, including extended payment terms.
Provide procurement updates and reports to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and process adherence.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement, supply chain, or related functions, preferably in an international environment.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract execution skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or healthcare industry preferred).
