Description Robert Half has an immediate position as a Logistics Clerk in our Manassas, Virginia location. This Logistics Clerk will primarily involve maintaining an organized stockroom, ensuring accurate inventory records, and managing the logistics of both incoming materials and outgoing goods. The Logistics Clerk will work closely with production and supply chain staff to ensure smooth operations in our warehouse.Responsibilities: Organize inventory and maintain accurate records for the stockroom Conduct weekly cycle counts and confirm the accuracy of inventory records Alert the Production Manager of any discrepancies found during inventory checks Assist in creating Build Assemblies for planned production jobs and deliver them to the production floor Process material receipts, verifying the material received matches what was ordered, and collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to address any issues Package finished goods as directed by the Production team and make the appropriate inventory transactions based on the information received Package outgoing goods for shipment to fulfill customer sales orders, ensuring all packages are securely packaged with the appropriate shipping documents, and create the shipping label Comply with Export regulations and departmental quality, safety, work, and housekeeping rules and regulations Use Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook for communication and record-keeping purposes Provide a high level of customer service in managing deliveries and addressing inquiries.Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience in a logistics clerk role or similar positionPrior warehouse experience Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook Strong customer service skills Experience in managing and coordinating deliveries Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures Familiarity with warehouse management systems and operations Experience in managing warehouse inventory, including tracking, recording, and maintaining inventory data Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
