Responsible for management of emergency events
> Responsible for daily operational tasks
Responsible for providing timely feedback to supervisor concerning shift operations
> Responsible for conducting additional shift duties as needed
Participating in implementing and monitoring emergency response programs to ensure personnel and facility safety
Monitors and conforms to emergency response standards in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations
Performs surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations
Administrative
Regularly reviews group policies and procedures
Stays current on all required EMT training and procedures
Stays current on all required Environmental training and procedures
Stays current on all required Hazmat operations training and procedures
Complete daily ERT report tasks in Enablon and ERT event forms
Complete all assigned work orders through the ERT work order system
Computer Skills – Proficient in using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Sharepoint), SCADA, Ariba, Matreq and LEARN
Assists team members in completion of all assigned work orders through the ERT work order system
Communication
Communicate clearly and respectfully with all customers and team members all relevant information
Keep Supervisor advised regarding progress of assigned work as appropriate
Communicate to team members all emergency response activities for the day through verbal and electronic pass down process
Team Building Skills
Plays a planning role in team building drills and activities
Play an active roll in safety, actively participating in safety discussion, training and safe work practices
Play a role in instructing other team members on tasks or projects
Ensure that group work areas are kept clean and orderly

Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Be an active participant in the EHSS program by reporting all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (ERT, Supervision, etc.)
Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases
Responsible for protecting employees, safeguarding corporate assets, and controlling loss through the application of safety related programs. Responds to safety related incidents and alarms, insures safety of personnel and coordinates response of off-site responders as needed. Responds to incidents involving hazardous substances and coordinates abatement. Supports confined space rescue operations. Functions as Site Incident Commander and Emergency Response Team Captain during emergency situations. Responds to medical emergencies, providing basic life support and coordinating the response of off-site units.
