Description:We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help with the creation of CI/CD pipelines for a instrumental sonar/acoustic system in our US Fleet of Submarines called ARCI. The ARCI program is a way for the Navy to capitalize on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) rugged server and embedded computing technology to make quick periodic upgrades of submarine sonar signal processing capability. This technology will be integrated in ships for the US Navy, Royal Australian Navy, British Navy, Canadian Navy, and several US allies. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline.
Design and maintain build systems for multiple languages and/or components.
Software development in Linux environment (RHEL) with shell scripting.
Apply experience with Virtualization (KVM/Openstack) in Agile Development environment (Jira/Confluence).
Apply Static Code Analysis experience in developing more effective builds process.
Utilize source code management toolsets (GIT/Artifactory) and maintain build systems for multiple languages and/or components.
Apply containerization experience for builds and deployments.
Skills:ci/cd, python, bash, linux, kubernetes, docker, git, jira, jenkins, vulnerability assessmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required Experience:
BS in Computer Science or related degree
2+ years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Python or Bash (Masters degree and internship can replace years of experience)
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Set (git, jira, jenkins)
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
Experience with a Red Hat Linux OS
Eligible for a US Secret Clearance
Preferred:
Experience developing webpages or UIs to display Jira data points
Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SonarQube, and Terraform
Experience scanning for vulnerabilities in the code
Experience testing in the pipeline and integration testing
