Duties will include:
Explore changes in market routines that will enhance all aspects of the market and grow customer and vendor participation
Meet with vendors to envision the new market season
In consult with vendors and SS board, set schedule for the season and weekly markets
Oversee the weekly market
Work with the Operations Manager to establish partnerships with business and corporate citizens
Explore grant opportunities that support local food producers and markets
Other efforts that will enhance the market
As Manager you are invited to become a voting member of the Board of Directors. At each meeting they will review your recommendations and updates on your activities.
Compensation for this position will be $1000 paid to you as an independent contractor (an agreed upon schedule will be developed with the treasurer) plus a 5% portion of all sales by vendors.
