Eagle Eyrie is the largest Christian Conference Center in Virginia and sits on 425 beautiful wooded mountain acres, 15 minutes outside of Lynchburg. The campus provides guests from across the country with hotel-style rooms, cozy lodges, small and large meeting venues, and several mountain views.
We are currently accepting applications for positive, hardworking individuals for our Housekeeping Team.
Housekeeping Teammates are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to high quality standards and ensuring all facilities are in excellent working order. Housekeeping Teammates maintain a welcoming environment and are crucial to the success of Eagle Eyrie.
Responsibilities
- Change and replace all bed linens and towels.
- Sanitize and clean all restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Dust/wipe down all room surfaces including, but not limited to, windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
- Vacuum/mop all floors.
- Restock all amenities.
- Assure all rooms, meeting spaces, and common areas are set up according to the standards set forth by the Director of Housekeeping.
- Clean and maintain the work vehicle; keeping it organized and properly stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
Guest Service
- Offer guests assistance whenever possible.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to Eagle Eyries policies and services.
- Represent Eagle Eyries facilities with positivity and enthusiasm.
- Assure systems and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of guests are easily accessible and followed correctly.
Housekeeping Teammates are offered 28 hours a week, which consists of either 7:30am-2:30pm or 9:00am-4:00pm shifts. Availability to work weekends and varying shifts as needed is required. Training and uniforms are provided. A valid drivers license and a criminal background check will be necessary upon hire.
