Bee Line Transport, Inc. is a locally owned, full service towing and diesel repair company, located in Lynchburg. We are currently seeking a DIESEL MECHANIC to join our team!
Diesel Mechanic Functions & Duties:
-conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
-preventative maintenance service and repairs on Class II to Class VIII vehicles
-diesel and gas repairs
-repair equipment for proper performance and to meet manufacturer specifications
-electrical trouble shooting
-tire maintenance
-major and minor trailer repairs
-minor transmission repairs
-preventative maintenance inspections
-brake system repairs
-air conditioning system repair
-maintain vehicle records
-removing, repairing, assembling, disassembling, and replacing components, parts, and systems.
-verifies vehicle repairs by conducting test drives
-performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills :
-high school diploma or GED
-basic computer skills
-utilize diagnostic programs
-state inspection license
-valid CDL is a plus!
Experience :
2 years preferred
