Occasional care for very nice, capable, elderly gentleman with early/minor dementia. Smith Mountain Lake, Monoacan Trail. Mostly for safety to call for help if (unlikely) fall/ incident. Also, some basics/reminders. No daily care such as helping in bathroom.
Example duties: wake him up as needed, remind him to shower at least every other day, remind him to eat heart-healthy, wear different clothes each day, wear hearing aids.
Can offer generous hourly rate.
Prefer someone that can often be available in demand with notice, a week or a day in advance. Can pay premium for availability. This is at a second home. The care is for husband so wife can be away for hours.
Can set up contract as flexible hourly, minimum or maximum hours, or other options.
