General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a world leader in Defense IT Systems Integration and Services, is seeking IMS Scheduler to join its Air Force (AF) Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team. We provide modernization for the integrated sustainment of the AF DCGS which also includes lab support for operational, production and test environments. This position is located at Langley AFB, VA.As the IMS Scheduler you execute the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the development of technical, solution, business, and enterprise architecture for the DCGS enterprise:
Provide support in business planning and strategy by focusing on business capabilities and maturity. Understands customer needs, services and core missions and matches them with best-in-class technology.
Define prioritization and sequencing of the transformation by proposing a strategic roadmap that leads to the target state.
Lead key discussions around change programs from both business and technical perspectives.
Develop strategic roadmaps and forward-looking plans (two-year, five-year plan).
Basic Qualifications:
BS/MS degree ; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
10 years of experience leading cloud services teams and initiatives
Security+
IASAE Level 3 desired.
