To weld, use cutting torch, and braze. To perform minor electrical work. To read blueprints, schematics, simple drawings, may be essential to make simple drawings. To fabricate parts, equipment and machinery. Operate shop equipment including drill presses, grinders, hydraulic presses, band saws/skill saws. Be able operate forklift, Millwright truck, front-end loader. Be able work at a variety of heights. To complete work both in the field and in the shop, including disassembly and assembly. To complete repairs, replacements, diagnostic and troubleshooting activities in steam systems. To operate man-lift, mobile cranes, loaders, tractors, bobcat. To work to precise tolerances, essential to work in confined areas. Essential to consult technical manuals as well as technicians. To maintain a library of technical information. Essential to complete activities on a scheduled and as-needed basis. To complete PM sheets, work orders, essential to outline daily activities.
