SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for an FMS Systems Engineer to join our team to provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) engineering support for Track Management element. Support will be provided for operational engineering studies and evaluations relative to system requirements, threats, system architectures, operational requirements, and technical, design, and performance tradeoffs.
Responsibilities:- Analyze Track Management element and combat system requirements and provide engineering products, such as, requirement analyses, white papers, requirements traceability, briefing/reports, and requirement testability assessments
- Review ECPs, ACSNs, and Design Agent work products for accuracy, completeness, and impact to Track Management systems and the interfaces to other elements and host combat systems
- 3 years of Track Management systems experience
- Experience with Naval combat systems, e.g., AEGIS and SSDS, including design, performance, analysis, military applications, or operational experience
- Experience in the development of Naval combat systems, including definition, functional allocation, design development, testing, integration, and operational deployment
- Experience in the development of methodologies, models, or simulations for conducting engineering assessment to Track Management systems' performance; performance data analysis, simulation/ development/maintenance
- Experience in developing and assessing Capability Requirement Documents, Capability Production Documents, System Engineering Plans, System Requirements Documents, System Design Documents, Interface Design Documents, and Specifications
- Working knowledge in the development of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products as well as other architectural representations of Track Management and link functions
- Experience with CEC or FMS
- Good communication skills
- Good writing skills
