We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Test Facility (PTF) Engineer to join our team and lead Production Testing. As a PTF Engineer you will lead and oversee production testing operations to ensure sub-assemblies function as specified at various stages of the assembly process as well as ensuring the final assembled product functions as designed. This is a hybrid position requiring occasional onsite work in the MD, VA, PA area.Responsibilities:
Interface with stakeholder subject matter experts to understand the designed solution and design decisions and assist in developing test procedures for DOA, OS install and burn-In, staging and appliance, interface and wiring, and other tests
Liaison with ServiceNow Developers to understand what’s required on a product model level and store test results in the ServiceNow portal
Interface and collaborate with various stakeholders to understand pursue capabilities and integration requirements
Research and recommend enhancements to testing and testing equipment functionality
Test products and systems to ensure they meet design and quality specifications
Write and provide reports for engineers that summarize findings and recommended solutions
Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to testing processes
Assist with the selection and setup of specialized test equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experience
Secret security clearance
Six years of PTF Engineer experience, preferably in the government sector
System Administration experience
ServiceNow System Administration experience
Desired Certifications:
Certified ServiceNow Developer
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
ITIL V3 Master Certification
As a PTF Engineer, you will oversee in-progress and final assembly production testing to ensure sub-assemblies and final assembled product meets quality and functional specifications and are ready for deployment. You will play a critical role in co-developing test equipment frameworks, interfacing with ServiceNow developers, researching and recommending enhancements to testing. Your work will be crucial to the success of large-scale government projects.
