Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy tactical, modeling, simulation and training software.
Work closely with engineers, managers, and critical stakeholders to understand system and usability requirements.
Perform requirements assessments and requirements decomposition.
Provide software and code reviews.
Code to model system behavior through functional flows and functional descriptions.
Perform System testing to ensure overall functionality and system performance.
Provide Software Engineering technical support.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with C/C, Linux software development, configuration control software.
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Desired
Experience related to DoD projects or customers.
Understanding of technical aspects required to develop large complex software intensive systems.
Five (5) years of experience in software engineering applied to program development, modeling, and/or simulation.
Two (2) years of experience with US Navy or Joint systems.
