The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager. The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position. ResponsibilitiesGeneral Duties:
Assist the Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional to provide golf experiences at the level expected within Omni Golf departments.
Maintains Cart Cleanliness and Detail
Communicate daily activities of golf operations with the instruction staff, golf course maintenance Staff, Club house F&B and Omni hotel staff when necessary.
Keeping outside operations clean and neat
Focus on details of the Driving Range
Complete opening and closing protocols for the golf shop.
Complete Rental Club inventory
Complete Inventory of supplies
Teaches clinics and Private lessons under supervision of Head Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional.
Enforce all the facilities rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf carts, payments of lessons, green fees, and cart rental fees according to Omni expectations.
Any other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional and/or Assistant Golf Professional
Working Environment:
Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions
Interior of hotel, in normal office conditions.
QualificationsRequirements
Must be enrolled in the PGM program at a recognized institution.
Must have strong computer skills.
Basic accounting skills
At least 1-year experience with tournament operations
At least 1-year experience in golf shop merchandising
