Ability to work collaboratively with business development, capture, solutioning and proposal staff, as well as with senior management, to drive development of quality captures and proposal responses resulting in organizational growth.The successful candidate must possess strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex and challenging review material into cogent recommendations supporting capture and proposal teams business decisions.The location for this position is at GDIT IHS headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, with occasional travel for in-person support at other GDIT IHS offices in Falls Church, VA, Springfield, VA, and Annapolis Junction, MD for major proposal efforts.Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Business Development, Capture Managers, Solution Architects, Line Leaders and Program Managers to facilitate and execute key reviews in the business development lifecycle process that lead to winning captures and proposals.
Talent in integrating disparate information into a concise actionable strategic recommendation
Demonstrated experience to influence and build consensus
Conduct Black Hat reviews to analyze and anticipate competitor strategies and solutions to improve GDIT’s win strategy and positioning before writing a proposal.
Chair Win Strategy workshops to facilitate, in partnership with capture managers, the development of win strategies for all major bids.
Conduct Strength workshops to ensure that win themes, differentiators and strengths are identified and integrated throughout the capture and proposal process.
Chair Blue Team reviews to ensure quality and efficiency of pre-proposal solutioning and that required pre-proposal artifacts are generated.
Work closely with Solution Architects and Business Development Professionals to track solution status. Maintain intimate knowledge of all priority captures and proposals.
Work across the business development lifecycle and partnering with corporate proposals to implement a comprehensive set of libraries of information (in both unclassified and classified areas) for access by capture and proposal resources
Work across the business development lifecycle and partnering with corporate proposals to implement artificial intelligence-based tools and technology to achieve efficiencies when executing captures and developing proposal responses
Chair all major proposal reviews for all major bids, including Proposal Readiness, Pink Team, Green Team, Red Team, and Gold Team reviews to ensure quality and efficient development of all priority proposals.
Required Qualifications:The right candidate will possess a proven track record of supporting growth organizations in the winning and delivery of new and recompete business with:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
15+ years of industry experience serving in key Growth roles with a proven track record of winning new and recompete business with Intelligence Community and Homeland Security-based clients
Business Acumen - an experience-driven adeptness at working cross-functionally, presenting to executives, working with partners, and achieving consensus, all based on an acute focus on organizational success.
Strong analytical as well as verbal and written communications skills
Experience in building and facilitating highly effective teams
Proven interpersonal skills to lead in a matrixed environment and global marketplace
Demonstrated ability to lead people to achieve very high-performance standards
Experience developing, implementing or enhancing effective and cost-effective business development, capture and proposal processes, methodologies and tools for a growth organization
Experience in facilitating formal capture and proposal reviews
Limited travel to various GDIT IHS division locations around the Washington Metro Area
Clearance:
Current TS/SCI with Poly-level security clearance

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
