Position Overview

The Customer Experience Advocate's main objective is to ensure that anyone who engages with Harmony Harvest Farm has the best possible experience while making each engagement as profitable as possible. This position will manage both on-site and online customer experiences, including managing our Farm Shop and our general phone and email inboxes.

General Job Duties

- Answer incoming emails to the general inbox and phone calls with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales.

- Answer general customer questions about products, accounts, and events

- Assist customers with placing orders online and in person

- Manage on-site retail store including inventory, cleanliness, and customer experience.

- Manage all pickup orders

- Manage daily wholesale account approval

- Contact customers with questions about their orders and to confirm deliveries, pickups, and monthly subscriptions.

- Assist with onsite events as needed

- Assist with weekly off-site farmer’s markets

- Manage with the general agritourism experience

Additional Expectations

Multitasking and Adaptability

- Be prepared to wear multiple hats and assist in various tasks during downtime.

- Flexibility to contribute to sales initiatives.

- Participate in on-farm activities as needed.

Sales Support

- Collaborate with team to identify opportunities and contribute to sales efforts

- Provide product information and upsell opportunities to enhance customer orders.

On-Farm Assistance:

- Assist with on-farm work during slower periods, ensuring a collaborative approach to meeting overall business needs.

- Participate in farm-related activities, events, or projects as required.

Content Creation

- Feel comfortable capturing social media story content related to farm activities, products, and customer experiences.

Initiative and Proactiveness:

- Take the initiative to identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas to enhance overall operations.

- Proactively seek opportunities to engage with customers and generate positive stories.

Job Requirements

Schedule

In Season (April - Early December)

- Tuesday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm (Flexibility to leave as early as 4:15 if all customers are gone and closing work is complete)

- Saturday from 9 am - 4 pm (Flexibility to leave as early as 3:15 if all customers are gone and closing work is complete)

Out of Season: (Early December - March):

- Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Compensation:

- $15 per hour

- Accrued 1 week paid vacation

- Four paid holiday days

- Product discounts

- Eligible for additional benefits after 1 year.
