Job Title: Punch Out Carpenter (Handyman)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Punch Out Carpenter with diverse skills and experience to join our Team. This position will be responsible for completing punch lists on our projects. Tasks will include installing finishes, fixtures, painting, and any other tasks required to complete our projects. Work must be done with a high attention to detail and quality.
Projects include decks, pergolas, porches, outdoor kitchens, and other exterior structures. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can work independently to resolve punch list items efficiently. This person is the face of the company to the homeowners and is expected to be a role model to their crew of Bear Creek values and beliefs.
Punch Out Carpenter Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Development:
Crew building and training
Leading by example with dependability and a strong work ethic
Authorized company driver (trusted leadership role)
2. Communication & Professionalism
Clear written and verbal communication
Smartphone usage for scheduling, reporting, and team coordination
3. Technical Expertise
Plan reading
Advanced power tool and materials knowledge
4. Safety & Compliance
Safety and code trained
Ensures jobsite adherence to regulatory standards
5. Physical Capability & Jobsite Readiness
Lifting heavy objects
Physically able to meet job demands reliably
Hours:
Essential job duties specific to the position:
40+ hours per week
Weekdays: Monday - Friday
Average Day: 7am - 4pm
End Time will vary depending on the job site
Overtime may be available as the job requires.

Education and Experience:
5 years of related experience required.
Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Job Site - Standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Compensation:
Full Time Position - Pay rate will start at $25+ an hour (depending on experience)
