AVA Care of Harrisonburg, a non-profit medical clinic serving women facing unintended pregnancy, seeks a part-time (24 hours/week) Staff Nurse (RN). The Staff Nurse is responsible for pregnancy testing; STI testing, pregnancy confirmation through ultrasound (training provided), and educating on pregnancy options and sexual health.
Qualifications: BSN with 3+ years of experience required (preferably in womens health, psych, or emergency nursing). Applicant must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be adept at crisis intervention. Must be in full agreement with AVA Cares guiding principles and core values and be available to work evenings and/or weekends when necessary.
