compensation: $13.88 per hour

Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to child on Autism Spectrum
- Administer medication if needed.
- Perform basic first aid and respond to emergency situations as necessary.
- Assist with social work activities and providing emotional support.
- Drive to appointments or outings as needed.
- Assisting with daily living activities: daily showers, help with dressing, help with grooming/hygiene, feeding (meal prep), and his laundry.
-Child may walk away from attendent in public or at home. Must be able to walk/run/follow after him
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to pass cheek swab drug test
and random drug testing throughout employment
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must be Covid vaccinate with any and all appropriate boosters.
- Must have ability to lift child when needed
(100 lbs)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide emotional support.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a reliable vehicle for transportation.
-Must be able to able to deal with typical autistic behaviors without expecting typical social responses. If you must recieve typical response or react to illogical outbursts with your own sense of justified response, this is not a position that will fit.
-Must be available on weekends and holidays, non-negotiable
-Pay is set at $13.88 per hour by the state. Unable to supplement this wage rate. Up to 30 hours per week. Background Check may be required.
