CMS is currently seeking a Project Engineer who can work in tandem with program managers and project directors and perform project management duties to support the completion of projects. Participate during all phases of the project management process. Under the guidance of the project director or program manager, associate project managers schedule and conduct project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members and track completion of project deliverables to ensure quality and integrity of all project-related products.

Essential Functions

Work with other departments to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established timeframes.

Coordinate team resources, direct team members, and distribute responsibilities.

Create project plans, establish timelines, and build budgets.

Report on progress and provide regular updates to upper management.

Write up all of the required project documents, obtain resources, and write status reports

Communicate project information to stakeholders, design templates, create presentations, review and edit project deliverables and maintain the project information repository.

Resolve project conflicts, identify resource requirements and align the project team on project scope.

Observe existing project management practices and propose improvements for process efficiency.

Ensure that projects are effectively planned and well-organized.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel/ Driving

Typically, an associate project manage works in their company's main office, although they may need to travel to project sites.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degrees in accounting, architecture, business, engineering, management, or another field or equivalent years of experience.
