If you answered “yes,” then read on!We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position.Job SummaryDominion Energy, Innsbrook, Nuclear Engineering & Fuel is currently seeking a 3 term co-op starting in Fall 2024 (subsequent sessions Spring 2025, and Summer 2025) in the Corporate Materials & Inspections group. The co-op will be actively engaged in performing engineering work across a diverse field of technical experts.The Materials and Inspections group is part of the Fleet Programs and Components (FP&C) organization in the Nuclear Engineering and Fuel (NEF) department. The team has responsibility for the nuclear fleet (North Anna Power Station, Surry Power Station, Millstone Power Station, and VC Summer Power Station) for governance, oversight, support, and performance scope for the following technical programs Flow Accelerated Corrosion, Steam Generators, Reactor Vessel Internals, Reactor Vessel Integrity, Thermal Fatigue, Alloy 600, Boric Acid Corrosion Control, Welding, ASME Section XI, Repair/ Replacement, Materials Laboratory, and Underground Piping and Tank Integrity.Project assignments will be made based on completed coursework. Tasks will be mentored by experienced engineers.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceExperience with Microsoft Office products is desired. Proficiency in MS Excel is preferred.Knowledge of engineering software applications such as Matlab is preferred.An inquisitive nature, an ability to follow written and verbal directions, and strong professional ethics.Solid engineering skills, commensurate with grade level.Ability to maintain a professional orientation, communicate effectively in both written and oral forms, and work effectively in a team and independently under own initiative.Education Requirements

Must be a student studying Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering at an ABET-accredited 4-year college or university.

Must be a sophomore or junior in good standing.

Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
