Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Chattanooga, TN. This role is in the healthcare industry and will be based in a fast-paced, office environment. The primary function of this role is to provide exceptional customer service in a call-center setting, handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.Responsibilities: Handle and respond to customer inquiries using multiple systems and screens Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records Navigate multiple systems to access and update customer records Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Perform data entry and order entry tasks as required Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks Schedule appointments as necessary Handle email correspondence professionally and promptlyRequirements A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role is required. Proven experience in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls. Demonstrable experience in a call center customer service environment. Proficiency in data entry and order entry tasks. Experience with email correspondence in a professional setting. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively. Prior experience in the healthcare or NHS industry is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Demonstrates empathy, patience, and compassion towards patients and their families. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively. Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
