Repo Driver
Role and Responsibilities:
Repo drivers represent the company, operating company tow trucks and providing the company’s primary income source. Compensation is determined by the driver – the more cars successfully recovered, the higher the income. The position is exempt from overtime, as hours are determined by the driver and the team leader.
Key duties:
Secure and transport autos to our secure lots and/or auto auctions.
Complete and electronically submit all required documentation associated with transport
Operate trucks in a safe, lawful, and secure manner consistent with company policies and procedures and in adherence with applicable local, state and US Department of Transportation rules and regulations
Maintain a professional appearance both personally and of the assigned vehicle.
Effectively communicate using digital devices and dedicated GPS/Dispatch applications in a manner compliant with FCC rules and company guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds.
Must successfully pass background check and frequent random drug tests.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred, but not required).
Must possess a Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) certification
Must be at least 23 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written and possess basic computer and data entry skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
