BILLET: TEAM LEADER
BILLET DESCRIPTION:
Team Leaders are front line leaders that lead a small unit of movers to safely load, transport, and deliver clients’ household goods on behalf of the Company. Team Leaders drive the truck, themselves, and a small unit of movers in order to successfully accomplish each daily moving mission. Team Leaders communicate with the client, dispatch, and the movers assigned on their team throughout the workday. Team Leaders drive a box truck rated at less than 26,000 pounds, complete a daily pre-trip, and post-trip inspection. Team Leaders lift, carry, and maneuver several thousand pounds of furniture and household goods on a typical day. Team Leaders direct a moving team of 2-4 movers in protecting, padding, and wrapping furniture in order to load said items into the truck for a safe transport to it’s new location. Team Leaders adhere to company Standard Operations Procedures, and ensure their moving crew does the same.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive a 26’ box truck and crew members to and from clients’ residence with all appropriate equipment and materials
Complete a pre and post trip inspection of the 26’ box truck
Lead on-site moving crew to ensure safe and efficient relocation
Complete accurate inventory and paperwork for each and every moving mission
Liaison and communicate with the client, dispatch, and on-site moving team of between 2-4 movers
Prevent problems and work solutions when problems arise
Represent the Company as a professional
Serve up a premium client experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Active Driver’s License (Non-CDL)
Candidate must pass a DOT physical
Bench Press 135 pounds

PREFERENCES
Prior Moving experience is a plus, but is not required
Current or Prior Military experience is a big plus, but is not required
Commercial driving experience of 1 year or greater is a plus, but is not required
Law Enforcement Officer or First Responder experience is a plus, but is not required

Dishonorably Discharged Prior Military
Veterans with a Bad Conduct Discharge
Unsafe Driving Record ( 2 or more moving violations in the last 3 years)

COMPENSATION:
Hourly: $25 - $30
Daily: $100 - $350
Weekly: $900 - $1,200
Monthly: $3,870 - $5,160
Yearly: $46,440 - $61, 920
