Camera Car/Spotter Driver
Role and Responsibilities:
Spotter Drivers drive a company assigned vehicle in a specified route that is designed to maximize geographic coverage. The cameras installed on the cars scan license plates, comparing the number to those in the company’s database. When a target car is identified, the location is relayed to the company’s Repo Drivers for recovery.
Key duties:
Drive a pre-planned grid pattern in a company assigned camera car to allow the cameras to read and identify license plates.
Operate a computerized camera system to communicate alerts to the team.
Maintain a professional appearance both personally and of the assigned vehicle.
Operate vehicles in a safe, lawful, and secure manner consistent with company policies and procedures and in adherence with applicable local, state and US Department of Transportation rules and regulations
Effectively communicate using digital devices and dedicated GPS/Dispatch applications in a manner compliant with FCC rules and company guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Must successfully pass background check and frequent random drug tests.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be at least 23 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written and possess basic computer and data entry skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
