Compliance Specialist
Job Description:
At New Home Media, Inc., Is looking for a dynamic personality to join our Compliance Team. This is the first line of contact to notify the utility company before digs. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who can provide great customer service and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Qualifications:
2 years of previous experience as an administrative or customer service professional
Capability to work with internal and external parties
Type 40 wpm
Attention to detail
Project management skills
Ability to multi task
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Critical thinker and problem solver
Extraordinary organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Maps
Duties and Expectations:
Assist the Compliance Manager with Miss Utility Calls, permitting, and general administrative tasks
Support Product/Installation teams as needed
Records information on services calls and prepares detailed reports on all activities during the day
Heavy phone usage and securing installation markings
Google Maps location generating, including for locations not built yet
Controlling the incoming and outgoing documentation process
Route orders, organize, and manage office procedures

Work Environment:
This job operates in primarily in professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Must be flexible and adaptable to work in varying temperature conditions.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, climb stairs, and reach. This a largely a sedentary role; However, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
Position type:
This is a full-time in office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
You will be eligible for employer paid health care plan after 90 days of employment and the company 401k retirement plan following one-year anniversary. Other benefits include dental, vision, short- and long-term disability.
