Full Time Medical Assistant needed for podiatric practice. The necessary requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
First and foremost courteous and professional care to all patients
Practice HIPAA privacy laws at all times
Follow instructions and accept guidance in areas that need improvement
Enter patient data into an Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Willing to be trained to take x-rays and obtain limited radiology license
Assist all doctors with any patient treatment
Answering and/or checking voicemails from the nurse and prescription line. Must follow through with the phone call/voicemail to make sure the patients needs have been met.
Pre-certification of any additional supplies/services
Daily cleaning
Willing to be cross trained to also learn the receptionist position
Any other duties as assigned
May occasionally need to work at our Fredericksburg location
Hours are M-F, There are 1-2 late evenings a week (usually finished by 7)
Pass a background check
Pay will start at $11 an hour with re-evaluation after 90 days. Additionally, after 90 days you will qualify for health/dental benefits and paid holiday pay. Please email your resume.
