Qualifications/ Requirements
Must be able to physically lift, bend, stretch and pull up a person.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to drive.
Must be able to pass a criminal and caregiver background check.
Must be able to perform job related functions safely and successfully.
Main Functions
Bathing
Dressing
Transport to and from bed; walker, toilet, shower chair and sofa.
Toileting
Medication administration
Repositioning in bed
Assistance with feeding/ eating, including monitoring for chocking.
Hygiene tasks, including toothbrushing, face washing, hair care, feet, and ankles.
Attend doctors’ appointments.
Assistance with mobility in the home
Daily assistance
Cleaning and changing bed linen and laundry.
Meal prep and cooking
Run errands, including grocery shopping for personal needs, and picking up medicine from pharmacy.
Overnight care includes getting water and medication.
