The ideal candidate for this position is expected to harbor a genuine passion for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, showcasing a solid inclination towards supervision. THIS POSITION IS MOSTLY SUPERVISION.
Effective communication and interaction skills with individuals from various backgrounds is a plus or prior experience in the Human Services/Health Care field or just experience working with a family member or volunteering in the human service field can count as experience. Training will be provided.
This opportunity is particularly well-suited for retirees or a candidate seeking a meaningful role. Also, the candidate should exhibit proficient reading and comprehension abilities and the capacity to comprehend and execute written and verbal directives.
Although minimum qualifications are mandatory, certifications such as DSP (Direct Support Professional), Medication Management class is 32 hours, CMRT (training provided), CPR/ First Aid, and undergoing a background check are required. If you were a previous BUW that is also a plus.
Payment options encompass weekly, or end-of shift pay, ensuring flexibility for employees. This position is currently offering 8- 50 hours monthly offering further adaptability.
