This position is contingent upon contract award Provides security expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and leadership in all security related functions pertaining to: personnel security; industrial and physical security; computer investigation and awareness; security operations; and other security business. Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years includes >2 years within DoD/IC and For Access Control Specialist Positions: Experience must include >2 years of SMS and CAC. (4 additional years experience required in lieu of degree)
General knowledge of security practices with emphasis in personnel, physical and/or industrial security.
Experience may be broad based, crossing multiple markets (e.g., government, industry) and may also include relevant and associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices.
Works independently and closely with senior specialists or task leads.
Must obtain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification IAW DoD Manual # 3305.13M within 1 year of service start date.
Must possess an active U.S. Government issued TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills/Experience
Significant experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional security areas (e.g., personnel, physical, industrial security; computer investigations; classification management; operational security; security education, etc.)
Directing activities of specialists or other staff related to the specified security field or security discipline.
