ConsultantOCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management andtechnology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients.We provide consulting services in the areas of Data Analytics and Management,Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and InformationTechnology.Responsibilities and DutiesOCT Consulting currently has an opening for an experienced Consultant to supporta Federal government client. This position is contingent on contract award. Theresponsibilities for the Consultant include:● Provides functional expertise in data extraction, visualization, analysis, andmanagement for acquisition programs and integrates performance acrosscritical functional capabilities● Provide analytical support for federal acquisition programs and supplierrelationship management program and subject matter expertise for datarequests from client● Provides recommendations for process improvements or strategic changesand edits business rules, guidance, and regulations associated with clientprograms● Draft reports and briefings to senior Government executives● Participate and take notes in regular meetings and status reviewsQualifications and Skills● 1+ years of relevant DoD experience in supply chain, acquisition,procurement or logistical fields, DLA experience preferred● Prior experience with federal acquisitions and DoD procurement databasespreferred● Familiarity with a wide range of data processing and visualization toolsincluding but not limited to Microsoft Access, Qlik, SQL Plus, and Tableau● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detailand the ability to convey complex information concisely● Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and acapacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders● The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines ina fast-paced environment● Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modificationsto the schedule and assessment requirements● Excellent oral and written communication skillsEducation and Certifications● A Bachelor’s degree is required in a technical, business or professional fieldBenefitsThe position includes competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits:● Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance● Retirement savings 401K plan provided by an industry leading provider with3% employer contribution.● Paid Time Off● Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term disability benefits● Training BenefitsAbout USOCT Consulting is a certified SBA 8(a), minority owned, small, disadvantagedbusiness providing professional services and information technology solutions tothe federal government and commercial clients.
