Falls Church, VA, USA | Full Time JHNA is seeking a Force Operations SME in Falls Church, VA to leverage analysis and lead coordination to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Multi-Domain Joint Operations (DASD(MDJO)) in advising the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC). Roles/Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and completion of Technology Modernization Transition Reviews, lending technical expertise to help with topic selection and technology evaluations.
Assist with Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) ideation process, helping with management and execution of Joint Design Working Groups.
Coordinate activities of large cross-cutting communities of interest to address technical challenges.
Coordinate and develop holistic responses to OSD Taskings and Congressional requests for information.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in any field AND, master's degree in Operation Research or Engineering OR possesses a certificate from advanced Professional Military Education relevant to Military Training and/or Military Planning.
Minimum 15 years of experience.
Experience and expertise in at least two or more of the following: Joint Force design, development and application, operational constraints, concepts of operation, concepts of employment, development and execution of Combatant Command operational plans, threat tactics and responses, or logistics approaches.
Experience working with Joint Staff, JCIDS, and military operations.
Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
Qualifications Desired:
Experience with OUSD(R&E).
Must be forward thinking and able to take initiative with minimal guidance.
Technical Writing experience.
