You will be working in a fully remote set up. You will be responsible for the tasks assigned to you by work orders, incidents, change requests, or other work requests to complete assigned tasks. The implementation of the standardization of NIPR and SIPR networks.HOW A TEAM LEAD FIREWALL ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Provide overall supervision for vendor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided.

Has the authority to resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor operation performance taking direction from the government to ensure complete satisfaction.

Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion.

Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.

Coordinates with the Vendor PM, CORs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters

Assist DLA Enterprise Network Micro-Segmentation Software Application Solution Support in providing Technology Foundation Services, Data Center Services with the resources to design, plan, test, implement, and sustain an Enterprise COTS network micro-segmentation software application solution across physical and cloud environments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED – REQUIRED:● CLEARANCE : Secret, with Top Secret eligibility● CERTIFICATION(S): DoD 8570 IAT II Compliant (CompTIA Sec+ CE). Computing Environment: CheckPoint Certified Security Associates (CCSA), CheckPoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE), CheckPoint Security Master (CCSM), CCIE, CCNP or CCNA. DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Server Admin M (Cloud or Microsoft / Linux Operating System per DLA Approved CE)● EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree● YEAR’S EXPERIENCE : 5 years of telecommunications experience● TECHNICAL SKILLS: Experience in telecommunications network design and management. Working knowledge of host-based Firewall. Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices. Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software Working knowledge of Information Assurance Best Practices. In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations. Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders. Comprehensive knowledge of DoD and DLA security regulations, guidelines and policies, to include, but not limited to, IA standards. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
