Job DescriptionHII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer in support of the United States Postal Service (USPS).Essential Job Responsibilities- Researches, designs, implements and manage software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs
- Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics
- Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts
- Acts as team leader on projects
- Participates in development of software user manuals
- Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team
- Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with supporting front-end design/development
- Must be able to obtain and keep a USPS Sensitive Clearance
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or similar for Agile development
