The orals coach develops an orals proposal plan; leads the in the development of the orals slides, talk tracks, and customer-centric Q&A; and prepares presenters to deliver a highly- rated proposal presentation.HOW A SENIOR MANAGER, ORALS COACH WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Orals Volume Lead: Orals coach acts as the Volume lead over large, complex orals presentations. They will manage the development, execution, and delivery of a clear, compelling presentation documentation. Presentations will describe differentiated solutions, maximize solution strengths, and meets all government solicitation requirements. Specifically, working with the Proposal Manager, the Orals coach:

Develops a detailed schedule and plan to develop presentation and prepare team

Tracks and manages all activities within the schedule and plan, including leading all color reviews and interim reviews and Q&A sessions

Ensures that all milestones meet and exceed expectations, presentation development is well-managed, and presentation is delivered to Government customers in a timely manner

Presentation provides differentiated solutions that maximizes strengths and receives the highest evaluation scores

Slide Architect. Orals Coach works with the Proposal Manager and Section Leads (technical, management, transition, staffing) to build a compliant, compelling presentations.

Leads in the development of the slide mockups with solution architects, technical and management volume leads, authors, and others as required

Supports the development of content by providing feedback and recommendations to slide authors, daily, as part of slide development

Ensures slides comply with solicitation requirements and deliver a meaningful key points and messages that result in strengths

Reviews presentation slides and provides recommendations and advice for the refinement of presentation slide content, while mindful of RFP compliance requirements

Talk Track, Scenario, and Question & Answer Development and Preparation. Orals Coach leads and manages the development of talk tracks, scenario-based questions, and sample Government questions.

Orals Coaching and Preparation. The Orals Coach is a expert on formal presentation techniques and delivering technical content to executive level customers

The successful candidate will:

Possess extensive oral presentations experience, particularly in the context of large and complex government procurements, including FEDSIM acquisitions.

Be self-directed and able to lead the development of oral presentations, rehearsals, and execution.

Work closely with members of extended teams to understand processes, approaches, discriminators, and other benefits of our proposals that are critical to reflect in our presentations.

Work with technical SMEs in the development and presentation of technical demonstrations for customers.

Must have the ability to think strategically and to build and convey compelling value propositions in a presentation format.

Have substantive experience in thinking about proposal offerings from the customer/technical evaluation board (TEB) perspective and be able to relate to orals teams how to resonate with and be persuasive in communicating complex, technical concepts and differentiators to technical and non-technical TEB members.

Be comfortable providing direct, constructive feedback and coaching presenters during rehearsals to increase the quality of their presentations.

Support aggressive proposal timelines and commitments, and - as time permits - be available to support and improve upon a variety of presentations that team members will present to their customers.

Requirements in order to be considered:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or other related field.

10+ years of experience in proposals, capture, or business development

5+ years' experience developing and delivering orals presentations to the Government.

Experience with FEDSIM acquisitions required.

US Citizenship required for systems access

Remote with 50% travel required
