As a Contracts Senior Manager, you will have overall accountability for tracking and managing all contract execution, as well as creation and management of contract amendments. The ideal Contracts Senior Manager projects high energy, strong customer facing interpersonal skills and possesses attention to detail in a time-bound schedule to properly position the O&M team for successful operations.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Manage the staff and activities of subcontracts and procurement administration for GDIT and on behalf of customer including the negotiation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations, and procurement policies and procedures.

Manage team of subcontracts administrators and procurement specialists.

Manage the negotiation and administration of assigned contracts, ensuring contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions.

Negotiate subcontracts and agreements, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution.

Ensure external customer and client contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives.

Manage process to ensure that performance risks and risks inherent in terms and conditions are mitigated in subcontracts and agreements.

Serve as point of contact with internal departments and client concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems.

Build and maintain a procurement process; procure materials and services in support of IT

initiatives.

Creates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and procedures.

Provides advice and interpretation of subcontract requirements and generates reports for stakeholders as required.

Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for customer and program team regarding subcontractor or vendor contracting issues, providing recommended solutions, and coordinating resolution with leadership team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

8+ years of related experience

Manage a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines.

Extensive knowledge of contracts, subcontracts and procurement administration practices, procedures, and processes

Experience with administering agreements and subcontracts with service level credits or similar performance requirements.

Prior experience supporting Cloud reseller and services contracts is preferred.

Knowledge and prior experience soliciting, negotiating, and administering license agreements required

Strong knowledge of relevant Texas and federal laws and regulations

Effective communication skills

Effective administrative and organizational skills

Effective people management skills

Extensive knowledge of company policies, processes, and procedures

Understanding of company strategic goals and how they align to business operations.

Location: Hybrid, or remote with travel to Austin, TX. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave.
