The Clinical Informaticist serves as an expert role model in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings.
The Clinical Informaticist is a leader who applies advanced education and experience to effectively address complex challenges in diverse healthcare delivery environments.
The Clinical Informaticist acts as a liaison between clinical care and information technology, leading caregivers throughout the care continuum in the full life cycle of clinical technology projects.
The position requires team leadership skills delivered in a complex, highly stressful environment, demonstrating expert use of clinical technology, information sciences and fundamentals of project management with a customer service focus.
This position will need to work across the team's partners to be successful. In addition, this position may manage other team members
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clinical expertise is preferred.
8+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects
Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
