Our work depends on a Product Owner joining our team to support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent. GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution that enables and integrates the program’s complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle. This Product Owner position will directly contribute to defining and guiding the development of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure and MBSE tools of the digital engineering environment.This position is remote with up to 10% travel to the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area.How a Product Owner will make an impact: · Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and requirements· Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria· Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of product features· Manage and prioritize the product backlog· Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams· Ensure the delivered solutions meet the business needs and quality standards· Identify and implement improvements to the product development process· Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on product management best practicesWhat you’ll need to succeed: Required experience/skills:· Active Secret clearance· Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture· Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies· Strong communication and collaboration skills· Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders· Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, systems engineering, or a related field, or additional years of experience in product management or a related fieldDesired: · Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner)· Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools· AWS Certification (Solutions Architect Association, Solutions Architect Professional)Travel: Up to 10% to the greater Salt Lake City, Utah areaWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU: · Full-flex work week· 401K with company match· Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career· Collaborative teams of highly motivated critical thinkers and innovators· Ability to make a real impact on the world around youWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education : Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 8+ years of experience; or BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)

Experience : 8+ years of relevant Project Management, Project Controls, or Scheduling/Planning experience.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire.
