This position serves as the Raytheon Supply Chain – Staff Operations reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain and interfacing with all functions and strategic business units across Raytheon. The Chief of Staff serves as a facilitator to the extended Supply Chain leadership team and an informal communication conduit, when required and/or requested, between the Vice President of Supply Chain and other members of the functional leadership team and business. As a member of the Supply Chain leadership team you will work on key strategic projects and day-to-day tactical execution. This role requires the utmost discretion and safeguarding of sensitive personnel, business, and propriety information.What You Will Do:Alignment of the Supply Chain organization including leadership team collaboration activities, tasking, and execution reviewsDevelop and execute the Supply Chain operational and communication cadenceSolicit and gather information/data from multiple sources and synthesize into concise executive level briefings by collaborating with multiple stakeholdersUnderstand and prioritize requests and actions based on critical business needsAct independently, and anticipate the needs of the Vice President, functional leaders, and geographically dispersed employeesProject Management, coordination of events and site visitsEffectively work multiple projects simultaneously interacting with and relating to diverse groups and internal and external customersDevelop, maintain or improve company-wide support networks to facilitate and leverage the broad resources available within Raytheon to accomplish assigned projects and tasksTravel to offsite locations on an as needed basisQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experience.Professional experience in program or project managementPast experience preparing materials involving strategies, briefings, documentation and/or messaging conveyed across multiple stakeholders (for example: customers, employees in multiple disciplines, and senior executives)Work experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Prefer:Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, or Business ManagementPrefer 10+ functional and/or product line experience with the capability to operate in an unstructured (minimal guidance) environmentBuilding trusted partnerships to obtain key or underlying information needed to support tactical or strategic decisionsExperience applying high situational awareness, patience, diplomatic skills, and the ability to produce under stressful conditions, including demanding customers and schedulesDemonstrated experience of taking initiative and exercising reliable business judgment and accountabilityDemonstrated ability to influence large cross-functional groups with a focus on fostering team-building and mentorshipMust be proactive, influential, conscientious and collaborativeProcess and detail-oriented, timely and responsive, and have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environmentDemonstrate a high level of creativity, innovation, and initiativeBroad understanding of company structure and established network within Raytheon & RTX.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
