Overview:Are you ready to jump on track with an opportunity in Human Resources? Kings Dominion is hiring a Human Resources Front Desk Onboarding Assistant! This position is a member of the HR Team and works directly with our associates to provide best in class customer service and HR assistance. In this role you will assist new hires during their preboarding process while gaining knowledge in compliance.This position has a starting wage of $15.00 an hour, plus the fun benefits of free park entry for yourself, the opportunity to earn admission tickets for your friends and family, as well as awesome employee appreciation events!Responsibilities:

Provides customer service to associates to answer general HR inquiries both over the phone and in person.

Assists with new hire process to include: sending electronic onboarding packets, document/form review and background check screening.

Utilizes various computer programs (HRIS, ATS, Background Screening) to enter and update associate information.

Performs general office work such as: filing, copying, faxing and answering phones.

Qualifications:

Ability to provide exceptional customer service when interacting with associates, coworkers and guests.

Basic computer (Microsoft Office) and typing skills.

Possess writing and basic math skills with good organization skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced and rapidly changing office environment.

Flexible and willing to gain a broader knowledge of Human Resources procedures.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Possess a current and valid driver's license and submit it upon request.

Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
