The Department of Human Services, Danville State Hospital, is searching for a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist. If you are looking for a great opportunity to utilize your experience and training in the field of quality assurance, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist, you are responsible for assisting in the hospital-wide performance improvement program. This task is accomplished through data collection, analysis, standard reviews, and policy implementation to ensure compliance with all applicable accreditation and certification agency requirements. You will assist in the implementation of the hospital's Risk Management Program Plan and perform other duties such as coordinating the fall risk prevention plan, reviewing incident report data to reduce risk and identify opportunities for improvement, and assisting with the proactive risk activities and root cause analysis process. This includes responsibility for data collection, monitoring, data entry, and reporting for a wide variety of services provided at the hospital. You will also consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and nonclinical support staff to monitor and evaluate quality assurance and risk management program activities. Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree; or
Two years of clinical experience in a human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
