You will play a crucial role in assisting consumers with daily living activities, assessing their clothing and hygiene needs, and providing nursing care. You will also respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies. In addition, you will participate in professional development opportunities to help you get the most out of your career and provide the best care possible.Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment (40-hour work week)
Work hours are available on the following shifts:
1st shift (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM), with 30-minute lunch
2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with 30-minute lunch
3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with no lunch
All three shifts include a rotating schedule, and work weekends and holidays as assigned.
Work schedules and hours may change as operationally necessary.
You may work overtime as needed.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
2nd shift receives $1.25/hour shift differential
3rd shift receives $1.15/hour shift differential

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (commonwealth title); or
Six months of experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with mental health or physical illness or disabilities; or
Certification as a Nurse Aide or Nursing Assistant through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
