As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to work in our Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for operating and maintaining various machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operations.You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Danville, KY location.In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes by producing high-quality parts and instruments. You will contribute to the success of our business by meeting production targets and maintaining a safe working environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and maintain machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Set up machines and adjust settings to ensure accurate and precise machining
Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machinist or in a similar role
Basic knowledge of machining techniques and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality

Experience with CNC machines
Knowledge of programming and operating computer-controlled machines
