Warehouse and Store Product Coordinator

We are searching for an experienced, detail orientated, and dependable Warehouse and Store Product Coordinator who is passionate about providing a great and remarkable customer experience by maintaining the organization of warehouse and store inventory. The team leader will be responsible for the distribution of our merchandise safely and promptly as well as supervision of our warehouse staff. You will represent the company in a professional manner and focus on customer satisfaction by way organizing and displaying products in the store and warehouse.

Responsibilities

- Lead coordinator will be responsible for the distribution of our merchandise safely and efficiently under time constraints, customer requests and bi-annual furniture market schedule.

-The Warehouse Team Lead plans, organizes, directs, manages, evaluates and is responsible for the operation of the warehouse facility including the identification of opportunities for warehousing operation improvements.

-You will represent our company in a professional manner and focus on customer satisfaction by way of managing service requests, deliveries, unloading of merchandise from containers and managing a staff of up to 6+ employees.

-Supervise and assist the loading and unloading of merchandise carefully and thoughtfully to prevent damages and facilitate quick access to merchandise in the warehouse and store.

-Assist with managing warehouse inventory for easy access for customers and staff.

-Ensuring delivery of merchandise to customers’ stores, and various trade shows, while following company policy and procedures.

-Coordinates and schedule the movement of products throughout the warehouse and store for storage and display.

-Requires the ability to effectively and respectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

-Manages daily flow of inbound and outbound products by modifying selling and storage space.

-Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets and or products to best utilize available space

-Collaborate with team to efficiently and safely move products for storage and sale

·-Mange the placement of merchandise in the store and warehouse in a cohesive way to maximize the use of selling space

-Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space and equipment

-Overseeing of the stock to maintain the integrity of inventory

-Inspecting delivery orders in advance to verify accuracy

Qualification:

1. Able to properly use mechanical fork lift, weight scale, dolly, etc. efficiently and correctly

2. Ability to manage a staff of 6+ employees efficiently

3. Effective Time management during stressful times, specifically during Furniture Market

4. Time management skill set as well as inter-personal skills needed

5. Able to work under time constraints and willingness to be proactive vs reactive.

6. Must be as hands on as your crew members

Requirements:

-High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required

-Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent experience may be substituted

-A valid state driver’s license is required

-Must be able to carry heavy objects, equipment or materials of up to 100 pounds. Frequent standing, bending, stooping and/or walking are required.

- Numeric aptitude: Requires the ability to add and subtract totals, multiply and divide

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.

-Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory, available space, and incoming shipments.

-Must be able to lift furniture
