Computer Engineer, Lead

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start Travel Requirements : NegligibleLocation: Dam Neck, VA SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Computer Engineer, Lead to be proficient in computer programming, systems design and computer related product and component development.Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: · Design hardware systems and components using blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.· Collaborate with government team to build and install components.· Test and evaluate hardware systems and ensure seamless integration of programs and applications.Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.· Six (6)+ years of professional experience in the research, design, develop, and testing of computer systems.· Three (3) years of full-time professional experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping of requirements or Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping of requirements.· Preferred: o Knowledge of US NAVY Shipboard Sensor Distribution Systems, SPQ-14, SPQ15, AN/SPA-25H and AN/SPA-25J systems.The s elected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.
