Description:Actalent is seeking a Ship Systems Technician with experience in Bridge Systems Integration to support a client on a Navy program in Dahlgren, VA. The client has been successful for over 50 years and is a trusted partner with the Department of the Navy. We are looking for a Systems Technician to provide to provide technical expertise to the teamDay to Day May Include-Provide ship integration services that address the design, installation, test and maintenance of Navigation/Bridge Systems-Perform tech. reviews of planned ship upgrades, coordinating Liaison Action Records, provide comments on potential system and integration issues/impacts-Generate and perform technical review of Ship Bridge Systems with Ship Change Documents-Review system changes to identify possible conjunctive alteration impacts-Conduct ship checks to document existing compartment arrangements and system configurationsSkills:Technical Reviews, LARs, SCDs, shipboard, autocadAdditional Skills & Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess3-5 Years of experience in Ship Systems Support-Experience as an ET supporting Bridge and Nav Systems-Familiarity with shipboard bridge/pilothouse systems such as SIBs, NGSSR, ECDIS etc. and their operations-Familiarity with Ship Specification documents-Experience in AutoCad would be desired but no mandatoryAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
