In this role, you will work with a team of professionals in the design, maintenance, and modernization of complex networks on Naval Stations, frequented ports of call as well as private and public shipyard facilities. You will be collaborating with industry leaders in networking and communications, government organizations, and a team of engineers with the focus of delivering reliable service anywhere at any time.HOW A PROJECT/TASK SUPERVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises up to 15 employeesReview project documents and provide technical review comments

Create IDPs based of IRD and site surveys.

Initiate and evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)

Attend Integrated Product Team meetings.

Practical understanding of Red Hat, VMWare,

LAN architecture troubleshooting and resolution of network traffic-flow issues over complex, multi node, tactical WAN/LAN environments.

Develop integrated naval enterprise logical and physical LAN architectures

Configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Server 2016-2019, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013-2019, Active Directory, and DNS.

Configuring and troubleshooting vCenter 5.x/6.x/7.x and VSAN.

Solid and practical understanding of Cisco Routing & Switching to include: Fundamentals of routing and switching, Routing Protocols, Access Control Lists, VLANs, VLAN Trunking, Subnetting, 802.1X NAC, and Secure Group Tagging.

Developing, implement testing strategies, and document results.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance

Experience operating in deployed environments.

Experience supporting EPCA projects, NCTAMS, or other network operations center

Working knowledge of the NAVY’s FRCB process and DISA network operations

Working knowledge of DISA circuit provisioning, troubleshooting process

5+ years practical experience supporting DoD network systems/projects

Possess DoD 8570.01M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification

Ability to travel 15% of time annually to work on-site, in a naval shipboard environments

Experience providing technical support to customers

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and support.

Preferred education and certifications:

BS degree in Computer Science related field

CISCO CCNA or CCNP

Microsoft MCSE or other server certifications

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
