Caregiver(s) needed for a heavy, female, near quadriplegic in Charlottesville, Virginia, who has minor emotional instability. Variable AM and PM shifts – generally 8:00-12:00 & 4:00-8:00; 8 hours a day; 7 days a week. 56 hours a week needed. Flexibility possible.
Duties include daily use of a bed pan, bathing, wound care, dressing, transferring, supervision, cooking and cleaning, and light housework. There is also a need for driving, taking to medical appointments, shopping, and help with misc. administrative tasks and other. Experience transferring via a slide board and caring for a person with limited mobility required. Physical strength needed.
Must love dogs. Willingness to walk them a plus. Two strong pitbulls.
Hourly pay is $13.89. Must be legal to work in the U.S.; pass a criminal background check; and have a valid driver's license. Applicant will also be required to submit an employee application and have a cell phone to submit hours worked
