Searching for a competent direct care professional to care for our clients in a respectful and compassionate manner. Ideal applicant must be willing and able to work with adults with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication skills. They should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help individuals in their home settings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting clients with medication management
Assisting clients with ambulation around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, community outings, walks etc.)
Following Individual Service Plans
Planning and preparation of healthy and well balanced meals
Performing housekeeping duties
Completing required paperwork and daily documentation
Acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Planning community outings and transporting clients to community events
Assisting clients with personal care needs
Training is provided for the right applicant. Applicant must have a current and valid drivers license, high school diploma, and be able to pass a state mandated criminal history check. Hours M-F 8am-4pm
